North and south London are both hosting football celebrations, with tens of thousands of fans attending victory events for Arsenal women and Crystal Palace men.

Arsenal Women

Arsenal are celebrating their historic Women's Champions League triumph with a trophy event outside the club's Emirates Stadium.

They beat favourites Barcelona 1-nil in Lisbon at the weekend to win the competition for the first time since 2007.

Chloe Kelly played 68 minutes of the 1-0 win over Barcelona in Lisbon before making way for Beth Mead.

“I'm absolutely buzzing, what an unbelievable club,” she said afterwards.

“I'm grateful for the opportunity this club gave me. I said I came here to win trophies and we did just that. It's history."

“These supporters are so good. They're unbelievable. The best fans!”

Arsenal's Leah Williamson: "We just knew what we had to do to be winners and we did it."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are celebrating their FA Cup win with an open top bus parade.

Palace won the trophy after a 1-0 victory over Manchester City at Wembley.

The parade got underway at 12.45pm in Whitehorse Lane.

Fans have also been invited for a party on the pitch at their Selhurst Park ground, with all the free tickets sold out for the 2.15pm celebration.

In their final top flight game of the season yesterday, Crystal Palace gave Liverpool their final guard of honour of the season. Top flight winners Liverpool then lined up themselves to give the FA Cup champions their own guard of honour.
