A teenage boy's admitted to the manslaughter of teenager Harvey Willgoose at a Sheffield school but denies murder.

The 15 year old died after being stabbed at All Saints Catholic High in February.

The defendant, who cannot be named, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and the possession of a bladed article at Sheffield Crown Court.

But the teen denied murder and will go on trial on 30 June.

At the time of Harvey's death, his family released a statement saying:

“We are utterly heartbroken at the loss of our beautiful boy, Harvey Goose.

“Our lives are devastated and will never be the same again. We have lost a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and most importantly, a best friend to all.

“Harvey will be forever known for being a caring, loving and funny young man.

We spoke to Harvey's sister Sophie, who told us more about the traumatic day Harvey died:

"I was in a meeting at work and my manager interrupted it.

"I wondered what was going on, but he sat me down and told me Harvey had been stabbed at All Saints and that I needed to go immediately.

"I was then frantically trying to get in touch with everyone, but nobody was answering their phone.

"I finally got in touch with my dad, who shot straight over.

"I remember coming down Granville Road - and it wasn't until I saw the amount of police at the scene that it hit me, and I thought 'he's gone' - it's been so hard to process."
