Radiohead have postponed two Copenhagen concerts after lead singer Thom Yorke was diagnosed with an "extreme throat infection."

The Oxfordshire-formed band was due to perform in Denmark on 1st and 2nd December 2025 as part of their European tour. These shows have now been rescheduled to take place on 15th and 16th December, according to a statement from the band.

The statement said: "We are devastated to have to postpone these two shows at such short notice but Thom’s throat infection has made it impossible for him to sing.

"Treatment is under way and we’re hopeful Thom will recover in time to play the final two Copenhagen shows on December 4 and 5, and all four Berlin shows, starting on December 8.

"We have been so blown away by the audience reactions on these dates and are loving being back onstage again - needless to say, we feel terrible that we are unable to play tonight and tomorrow."

Tickets for the postponed shows will automatically transfer to the rescheduled December dates. Fans who cannot attend the new dates can claim a refund by contacting their point of purchase.

This recent setback comes as Radiohead continues their first tour in seven years, which has already gained major recognition. The band broke the record for highest attendance at The O2 in London, drawing 22,355 fans on the final night of their four-show run on 25th November. Each of their performances at the arena exceeded the attendance record previously set by Metallica in 2017.

During this tour, the group is performing 20 concerts across five European cities.

Formed in 1985 at Abingdon School in Oxfordshire, Radiohead is comprised of Thom Yorke, guitarist Johnny Greenwood, bass player Colin Greenwood, guitarist Ed O’Brien, and drummer Philip Selway. Their career includes six UK number one albums and seven top 10 singles, with hits such as No Surprises, Paranoid Android, and Just.
