A march is being held in London today by Justice for Chris Kaba.

The 24 year old black man and father-to-be was shot dead by a Met firearms officer, following a police chase earlier this month.

It’s been confirmed no gun was found in the vehicle and an investigation is continuing by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

The officer has been suspended from duty.

Grieving family and friends of Chris Kaba, along with the wider community will protest for the justice of black lives.

They will assemble at 12:00pm Parliament Square and march up to Scotland Yard.

Donations are being accepted to support the campaign:

Donations are being accepted to the #JusticeForChrisKaba campaign, GoFundMe page which was set up by Kaba's cousin Jefferson Bosela.

The page has already raised over £30,000 in a week.

The Kaba family are campaigning for a number of things, firstly for a homicide investigation to be launched.

The family believe that the officer should be prosecuted.

The GoFundMe page says funds will go towards "resources to run the campaign, organising protests, fundraising events, and financially supporting the campaigners taking unpaid leave to support the cause" .
