Hundreds of world leaders will arrive today, but things are already well underway

Hundreds of world leaders are beginning to arrive at the SEC in Glasgow for Cop26.
The official opening ceremony begins later today as the likes of Joe Biden and Boris Johnson get their first look at the climate summit.
But press conferences, speeches and negotiations are already well underway.

This conference has taken over the city of Glasgow, and the site here at the venue is absolutely huge. Here's a look at just part of it.

"Probably going to limp towards failure"
A number of activist groups, all represented under the banner of 'Cop26 Coalition' have warned the event risks failing to deliver, with world leaders accused of a lack of ambition.
Asad Rehman is part of the group and also from 'War on Want' he tells us that things are not headed in the right direction.
Mary Church from Friends of the Earth Scotland highlights that she doesn't feel Holyrood is doing enough either.
