Chancellor Rishi Sunak has a new member of the family.
Nova, a Labrador retriever, has taken up residence at Number 11 Downing Street
The chancellor introduced his new puppy with a tweet.
Nova joins other animals living in Downing Street including Dilyn - the prime minister and his wife's Jack Russell-cross who arrived in 2019.
Nova will also have to share Downing Street with Larry, the resident cat at Number 10.
Nova is proving popular with more than 16,000 likes for Mr Sunak's tweet.
Rishi Sunak was born in Southampton, where his father was a GP and his mother ran a pharmacy on Burgess Road.
