Arsenal's campaign for the Champions League trophy has ended in heartbreak after they were defeated by Paris St-Germain 2-1 in the French capital.

The Gunners already had a difficult task ahead of them as they came into the second leg of the semi-final 1-0 down on aggregate.

Fabian Ruiz got PSG on the board after 27 minutes, with their lead being doubled by Achraf Hakimi at the 72nd minute.

Bukayo Saka tried to keep Arsenal's dreams alive with a goal in the 76th minute, but it wasn't enough in the end for Mikel Arteta's side.

The last time Arsenal made it to the final of the Champions League was 19 years ago and this defeat means the painful wait for the Gunners continues.
