Premier Sports Elite League: goals galore as Giants do the double over Blaze
The Belfast Giants completed a four-point weekend last night (Sunday) by beating Coventry Blaze for a second time.
But this one at the Skydome was much harder fought than Saturday's 7-0 trouncing of the Blaze at the SSE Arena in Belfast.
The Giants were 4-1 down in the closing stages of the second period - before they rescued the points with a late goals' flurry.
Mark Cooper bagged an early goal for Adam Keefe's side with Ciaran Long, Chad Butcher, David Goodwin and Colby McAuley completing the scoring.
The Giants will now prepare for one of their toughest challenges of the season to date.
They travel to Wales on Friday to take on the Cardiff Devils.
Then, on Saturday, they are away to the Guildford Flames.
