Mark Sykes: former Glenavon star signs for Bristol City
Former Glenavon star Mark Sykes has completed his move to Championship side Bristol City.
The 24-year-old has spent the last three years with League One's Oxford United.
Having made no fewer than 40 appearances for the team this season, he helped them to an eighth-place finish.
Recently Sykes had his first call-up to the Republic squad after making the switch from Northern Ireland.
He told Bristol City's Robins TV that it has been his ambition to play at this level.
"My priority is to have a good pre-season and get myself in the team. I want to hit the ground running," he said.
"I've always had the ambition of playing in England at this level and I didn't think it would come this quick so I'm delighted. I've worked very hard to get here so hopefully we can do well this year and I can play many games."
