Newry City’s bid for promotion to the Dankse Bank Premiership is off and running.
The Championship runners-up came from two goals down to beat Carrick Rangers last night in the first of their two-leg Promotion/Relegation play-off.
Declan Carville’s (pictured) penalty strike sealed the victory.
They’ll now go to Carrick on Wednesday in a winner-takes-all final match
