The Belfast Giants beat EC Salzburg last night (Tuesday) to give themselves a real shot at reaching the last 16 of the Champions League for the first time in their history.

Daniel Tedesco bagged the only goal of the game with just 4 seconds left in overtime to send supporters at the SSE Arena in Belfast into raptures.

Goalkeeper Tyler Beskorowany also played his part - with a total of 33 saves.

The Giants now face a must-win clash against Czech side HC Dynamo Pardubice next Wednesday for a place in the knockouts.
