Donegal are through to the semi-final of the Ulster Senior Football Championship after they beat Armagh 1-16 to 0-12 yesterday (Sunday)

It was an impressive display by Declan Bonner's side who led this quarter-final in Ballybofey 0-9 to 0-6 at half-time.

A goal from Patrick McBrearty (main pic) extended Donegal's lead and from then on they were the dominant force.

Kieran McGeeney's Armagh side will be disappointed, however.

Up until yesterday, they had been one of the in-form teams this year with Division 1 wins over Dublin and Tyrone already banked.

This weekend sees the remaining quarter-finals with Monaghan v Down and Tyrone v Derry.
