First North West 200 qualifying session in 2024 will move from Tuesday to Wednesday

The 2024 North West 200's first qualifying session will run on Wednesday, May 8th, rather than its traditional Tuesday slot.

That is because of a British Superbike round taking place at Oulton Park from May 4-6.

The early season Oulton Park BSB round is regularly staged over the May Bank Holiday weekend, with the main race day this year, Monday, May 6th.

In addition to the change of qualifying sessions, the Superbikes will go out onto the track first on both Wednesday and Thursday morning. They will be allocated one-hour slots on both days.
