Allen moves into last eight at the World Snooker Championships

Mark Allen completed his victory over Stuart Bingham at the World Snooker Championships in Sheffield on Saturday morning.

Needing just one more frame to complete the job, after winning his 12th frame before last night's end-of-session, the Antrim man completed the job quickly.

A break of 68 at the Crucible completed an impressive 13-4 win over the 2015 world champion Bingham.

He is now into the quarter-finals as he looks to build on an impressive campaign which has already seen him with the World Grand Prix, UK Championship, and Northern Ireland Open.
