'Trust us to do the business' - Magennis

Josh Magennis says the entire Northern Ireland camp at the Euros is brimming with confidence, and fancy an upset against Germany.
Speaking at the team’s training base to Downtown & Cool FM the Kilmarnock striker said: “We fully believe as a group all the way from the manager right down to the kit men.
“Everyone who wears the badge on their chest thinks we can win and go on to do as well as we can.
“We know it’s going to be tough whether that happens or not only God knows.
“But as far as we are concerned we are going to go out and try and win every game.”
Things have shifted up to Paris now…
Tomorrow evening Northern Ireland have the world champions at the Parc des Prince.
A win or a draw would mean the Green and White Army are off to the next round.
But even a defeat to Germany doesn’t mean the end of the line – they could still go through in third place with 3 points.
Magennis says they’re preparing for a difficult game.
“We know we’re not going to have 70% of the ball.
“That’s not how we play but we are an effective team.
“And we are very hard to break down – we don’t leave any stone unturned.
“We know they are a very very good team but every team has its weaknesses.
“It’s just whether we can find theirs and they can't ours.”
Michael O’Neill made five changes to his team for the Ukraine game, and it’s not known just how much he’ll shake things up for tomorrow’s match.
Magennis says it important to trust the boss.
“A lot of praise has to to go to Michael and his back-room staff,” he said.
“I think at this level especially with what is at stake you have to go with form.”
