Woman attacked with hammer in south Belfast
Man tries to steal handbag in Lisburn Road attempted robbery

A woman was hit repeatedly on the arm after refusing to hand over her handbag.
It happened shortly before 11 on Friday evening outside a restaurant.
The man made off empty handed along Lower Windsor Avenue.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
