PSNI at scene of Newry incident
The PSNI are currently at the scene of an ongoing security alert in the vicinity of the old Abbey Grammar School in Newry.
A helicopter and a number of police cars are present in the Courtney Hill area of the city.
There are no further details at this time.
A statement from the PSNI saud: "Police are currently investigating a report of suspicious activity in the Courtney Hill area of Newry.
"Officers are in attendance and enquiries are ongoing. No further details are available at this time."
