Police say east Belfast attack being treated as 'racially-motivated'

A woman has suffered facial injuries following an assault in east Belfast.

It happened on Sunday in the London Road area.

The victim was walking home from work on Sunday evening when up to six young people threw objects in her direction - she was struck in the face by a piece of mortar.

Police say it is being treated as a racially-motivated incident.
