Police make first arrest in NI for breach of a football banning order

Police say they have made a first arrest for someone breaching a football banning order in Northern Ireland.

A 21-year old was detained on Friday evening in Ballymena.

The man is suspected of three counts of failure to comply with a banning order.

He has been bailed pending further police enquiries.
