MID-Ulster District Council's confirmed the vast majority of their bins will not be emptied for a month.

That's due to the impact of industrial action.

Unite the Union's members at the council will begin a strike in a dispute over pay from Monday.

It's due to last until August 21st.

"While we will endeavour to collect bins where possible depending on the availability of staff on the given day, the likelihood is regrettably, the vast majority of bins will not be emptied," a spokesperson said.
