Man suffers injury after Enniskillen incident

Police in Enniskillen are probing an assault at licensed premises in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A man in his 30s was reportedly attacked with a glass following an altercation.

A 45-year old man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "We arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of a number of offences including wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon.

“He remains in police custody at Omagh station.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time of the assault, who witnessed it take place or who may have mobile phone or other footage that they believe may be of value to our investigation, to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 6 of 08/04/2023.”
