Man 'serious' after gang assault in Ballymena
The 37 year old male was attacked by 4-5 men in the early hours of Sunday morning.
It happened in the North Road area of the town.
Police say the culprits made off in the direction of the Cullybackey Road after the incident and are urging witnesses to get in touch.
"I would appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident at North Road, or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Ballymena on 101, quoting reference number 254 of 29/01/17," Constable Coles said.
