Man charged over Ballymena 'bomb hoax'
A 60-year-old man has been charged over a bomb hoax at a Ballymena school.
A call was made to the school on the Casement Road on Tuesday morning to say an explosive device had been left there.
Additional police officers were sent to the area with an extensive investigation carried out.
The man was then arrested and later charged with communicating false information causing a bomb hoax.
He is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning.
