A man has been pulled from a car and assaulted in east Belfast.
It is one of a number of incidents in the area on Sunday which police are investigating as potentially linked.
A PSNI spokeswoman said officers received a report at around 9.45pm on Sunday that a man had been attacked in the Templemore Avenue/Albertbridge Road area.
They were told that a man had been sitting in his car when two men approached the vehicle and attacked it before dragging him from the vehicle and attacking him.
Later, at around 3.45am on Monday police on patrol came across a car and a property on fire on Albertbridge Road.
A number of people were evacuated from their properties.
No-one was injured during these two arson attacks.
Police are investigating a possible link between all three incidents.
Detective Sergeant Eric Fairfield issued an appeal for information.
