Man 'armed with samurai sword' robs Belfast off-license
A man armed with a two-foot long samurai sword robbed an off-license in East Belfast on Sunday night.
The man reportedly entered the shop on the Woodstock Road at around 8.45pm.
He demanded cash and made off on foot with sum of money in the direction of the Cregagh Road.
Police have described him as being around 40-years-old, 5'8" and with dark stubble.
Reports say he had dark stubble and was wearing a grey flat cap, along with a black raincoat.
The sword was two-foot long with a black blade and handle.
There were no injuries reported in the incident and police are appealing for information.
