As well as performing with Ed Sheeran of course!
Dublin and Kildare boys Mark Prendergast and Jason Boland caught up with Curtis as they launch their new single 'Brother,' which has received almost three million Spotify streams since its release in June.
Mark described the sound as an emotional tribute to their band mates:
“It’s about the internal relationship with the band, it’s about our relationship with each other and a friend.
“It’s something you don’t really say to someone enough when deep down you mean it, you’d do anything for this person.”
The boys also teased the new album, promising fans “a constant flow of music from us in the next 18 months.”
Bass guitarist Jason Boland would not confirm a release date and said they are perfecting the sound.
“We finished it recently and then we thought there’s a bit more gas in the tank,” he said.
He added: “Every album is important but with the third album, I think we really have to outdo ourselves so we just kind of said let’s just push it back a few months.
“It’ll be within the coming months we’ve already got a lot of things recorded so… we’re getting prepared there’s stuff in the back pocket constantly to feed out.”
Their two previous studio albums ‘In a perfect world’ and ‘Coming up for air’ both got to number one in Northern Ireland.
One of the Irish band’s highlights was performing with Ed Sheeran at his Croke Park gig in 2015. Mark told us it was a surreal experience.
"It was a dream yea it was hard to fathom...that many people in front of you, singing back to you."
"It was magic man, you grow up dreaming about that stuff and when it actually happens...it didn't actually hit me until a few months later and I was like we actually did that."
"Ed's a dude and it was very nice for him to bring us on towards the end of his set and play song and it happened at a time when the band wasn't that busy, so it gave us a fire in our belly to aim higher," he said.
With a huge following in Belfast, Curtis could not resist asking if they would be back anytime soon.
"We played Belsonic about three years ago and we put that in our top five gigs of all time.
"It was amazing...we've always had a great time up there so yea we will come back as soon as possible.
"We've been a bit quiet on the old Irish front but we've got some special things coming up."
