Families of Troubles victims Westminster-bound to show opposition to legacy plans
The plans were announced by the UK Government

Families of Troubles victims are travelling to Westminster today to hand in a letter to Number 10, opposing the UK Government’s latest plans for dealing with legacy cases.
The controversial proposals include a statute of limitations, which would put an end to Troubles-related prosecutions.
The government revealed the plan earlier this year, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson saying it would allow Northern Ireland to “draw a line under the Troubles”.
Families and their supporters will protest at the House of Commons this morning, before walking to Downing Street to hand in the letter of protest.
