Elderly man held in aggravated burglary in Derry
An 85-year-old man was threatened with a screwdriver during a burglary in Londonderry on Friday night.
A man and woman with balaclavas covering their faces broke into the house in the Maple Road area of Coshquin shortly after 10pm.
The woman held the elderly man in the bathroom while the other man searched the rest of the house.
The pair made off with a sum of cash and a mobile phone and pulled out the cable for the landline phone.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 101.
