Covid-related deaths rise by nine

The Department of Health reports that nine covid-19 related deaths have been added to the death-toll.

Seven of those occurred since 2pm yesterday (Saturday), while two more deaths are counted which occurred prior to that.

It means 855 people who had tested positive for coronavirus in NI have now passed away.

Today, 452 cases from 2,709 tests are also reported.

415 patients in our hospitals currently have the virus, and 49 covid patients are fighting the virus in ICU.

13 intensive care beds are currently available.
