Chart-toppers Lukas Graham have an amazing Northern Irish connection that you may not know about
Lukas Graham are seemingly unstoppable - the Danish band look poised for another week at the top of the Vodaphone Big Top 40.
Although Lukas is the name of the frontman, the rest of the band comprises of Mark Falgren (drummer), Magnus Larsson (bass) and Kasper Daugaard (keyboard).
Chatting to Pete Snodden in the Morning, Lukas describes 7 Years as a song about his life so far and what he hopes to achieve in the future... "It’s a song about growing older. I’m also coming to a realisation that being a father is the most important thing because I lost my father at 61."
They're the first Danish act to get to #1 in the UK charts since since Aqua's 'Turn Back Time' in 1998.
The lead singer Lukas grew up in Christiania, Copenhagen but he also has a very interesting connection to Northern Ireland that you may not know about.
