Arrest made as police investigate death of 21-year old woman in Randalstown
Police investigating the death of a 21-year old woman in Randalstown over the weekend have made an arrest.
A PSNI spokesperson said the death was reported to police on Saturday.
"Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 21 year old woman in the Main Street area of Randalstown.
"A 26 year old man has been arrested in relation to the incident on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A and class C drugs, preventing a lawful burial and perverting the course of justice. He is currently in police custody."
Police say enquiries into the death are ongoing, but are asking for anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the Main Street area of Randalstown between Wednesday, October 9th and Saturday, October 12th to contact detectives in Antrim on 101.
