It’s a big one – On Saturday morning at 9am Ed Sheeran's 2018 Irish tour dates go on sale!

While we can’t guarantee you’ll get them, here are a few tips to maximise your chances of securing tickets.

Ed Sheeran returns to Belfast to play Boucher Road Playing Fields on Wednesday 9th May 2018.

The one question we’re always asked is “How can I guarantee I’ll get my tickets?”

1) Is it better to keep refreshing my screen or wait?

It is better to keep waiting. With really high profile events, the demand can be huge. To manage this, Ticketmaster instate a virtual queue; it’s much better to wait and hold your place in the queue, rather than refresh and lose it.

2) Is it better to open multiple windows?

Stick with one window. Using too many windows might identify you as an automated attempt to secure tickets or 'bot' - something Ticketmaster are monitoring to ensure real fans get their hands on tickets.

3) Is there a pre-sale?

Unfortunately not.

4) How early do you have to get ready for the sale? Ed Sheeran tickets go on sale at 9am sharp on Saturday 8th May 2017. Sync your clock to the exact time on www.timeanddate.com.

Purchase via the official Ticketmaster website only - http://bit.ly/2tfPwm4

5) Why do some people get tickets and others not – how does the system work?

Demand for large scale events will usually exceed the supply; there simply aren’t enough tickets for the number of people who want them.

6) Apart from online, is there any other way to purchase tickets?

Yes - If you want to queue up they go general sale from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide. 24hr Credit Card Bookings: 0844 277 4455.

It’s worth signing up to a My Ticketmaster account in advance of the sale. This will speed up your check out process. Ensure that you have your payment details ready.
