Castleward estate is gearing up to host one of Northern Ireland's first ever Prosecco 5K runs.

The quirky event has been organised by brothers Adrian and Sammy Daye, who manage Atlas Running, a club for joggers of all abilities;

"Everyone will get a medal and a bottle of prosecco at the finish line and can get a glass of wine at the half way mark if they want instead of water."

"All money raised will help buy defibrillators."

Over 249 people have already signed up for the incredibly fizz-ical race which takes place on Friday 17 August from 7pm.

You can register on the day between 5.30pm and 6.45pm at the farmyard in Castleward or online for a cost of £15.

Check out National Trust online to sign up and for more info.

Walk, jog or run around the stunning shores of Strangford Lough for a good cause.

Unbelievable, only in Northern Ireland.

Did you know HBO's Game of Thrones was filmed at Castleward? The historic farmyard is the location of Winterfell, the backdrop for the series pilot and much of season one
