The X Factor live shows thrown into chaos over mystery bug
Contestants are ‘dropping like flies’
Is it just us, or is this year’s The X Factor the best series yet (apart from the One Direction year, obviously)? Literally all of the contestants are amazing, and the judges are great! We’re still not entirely sold on the whole Prize Fight thing yet, but it’s early days…
But it looks like our plans to stay in all weekend, ordering in various take-aways and watching The X Factor may be under threat as a mysterious illness has thrown the contestants’ house into chaos. There are even fears several of the hopefuls won’t be able to perform in the live shows.
Sean and Conor Price, Holly Tandy and Matt Linen have all apparently been struck down with a bug and bosses are apparently concerned they’ll be too ill to perform.
(PS. Don’t panic, Rak-Su are fine)
Speaking to the Daily Star, a source said, "They've started dropping like flies.
“They're all having early nights and resting their bodies and voices."
Fingers crossed they’ll all make a swift recovery and be back on form for George Michael week.
The source added that producers are particularly worried about illness affecting this weekend’s shows as a double eviction is planned on both nights.
"We can't afford no-shows - there are two double evictions, so four acts are going to get the boot,” the insider added.
In other X Factor news, the Rak-Su lads have seemingly already set up their own company to handle all the money they're going to make after the show.
According to records at Companies House, Rak-Su created About Ours LTD on 22nd September, three weeks after the first X Factor 2017 show aired on ITV.
Ashley Fongho, Mustafa Rahimtulla, Jamal Shurland and Myles Stephenson are all listed as directors of the firm, which names it’s aims as ‘artistic creation’ and ‘performing arts’.
