Strictly Come Dancing in jeopardy as sickness bug hits the camp
A number of pro dancers and celebs have been hit by the illness!
Believe it or not, we are now into Week Six of this week's Strictly Come Dancing, with the competition between this year's celebrities seriously heating up on the famous dance floor.
However, as the likes of Kelvin Fletcher, Saffron Barker, Karim Zeroual and Michelle Visage battle it out to top the leaderboard, it looks like a sickness bug has hit the Strictly camp, sparking fears about this weekend's show.
According to reports, a number of pro dancers and celebs have fallen ill, with bosses of the popular dancing show doing all they can to stop the spread of the bug.
Former Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley told The Daily Star, “I’m not feeling great today. I’m very tired. The lurgy that’s been doing the rounds at Strictly, I’ve avoided for weeks. It’s been trying to get me, but it won’t win."
A source then added, “Everyone is working hard and obviously get up close and personal with each other as they are dancing. So when someone gets sick it quickly spreads through the cast. Lots of people have been really under the weather, but the show must go on.
“There is loads of cold and flu medicine available, and everyone is being encouraged to use hand sanitiser to stop the bug spreading even more."
Of course, as viewers will know, professional dancer Amy Dowden pushed through the live shows a few weeks ago, despite having the flu.

Just last week, head judge Shirley Ballas left viewers concerned when she posted a number of Instagram snaps, hooked up to a vitamin drip.
Admitting she was 'feeling under the weather', the 59-year-old wrote, ' @revivuk very happy to receive this drip today to help me get well. Full of all sorts of things vitamin c magnesium b12 and the list goes on. Feeling under the weather today as a result of a tough week.'.
