As the nation patiently awaits the brand new series of Strictly Come Dancing, the final 'Best Of' show is scheduled to air this Saturday night (10th October), with the episode paying a special tribute to the late Caroline Flack.

Caroline, who sadly passed away in February this year, appeared on the BBC show back in 2014 alongside professional dancer Pasha Kovalev, with the former Love Island host going on to win the series.

As the final 'Best Of' show highlights all of the winners, Pasha, along with judges Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood, remember the 40-year-old in a poignant tribute at the end of the episode.

Bruno says, "We will always love Caroline and we will never forget her," before blowing a kiss and adding, "We love you, my love."

Craig added, "She loved every moment of being on Strictly."

Professional dancer Janette Manrara also comments on Caroline's amazing Strictly journey, holding back her tears as she talks about Caroline and Pasha's perfect routine to 'Angels' by Robbie Willams.

She says, "You could feel she was lost in the moment. As a performer you can’t ask for more. It is a memory I hold close to my heart. I think overall she would have said her Strictly journey was magical. I’m so happy she was able to pick up that Glitterball and win."

Caroline was found dead at her flat in London on 15th February, with her family releasing the following statement at the time, "We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February. We would ask that the press both respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time."

You can watch Strictly's emotional tribute to Caroline during the final 'Best Of' show at 8.10pm on BBC One on Saturday 10th October.
