After what has been the oddest year ever, us Brits are in for a bit of normality in the coming months, as hit BBC show Strictly Come Dancing returns to our TV screens despite some major changes to usual years.

With bosses announcing 12 famous faces last month, this year's cast have now stepped into their glitzy outfits for their official photos, looking glam and ready to hit the dance floor for next week's launch show.

Jamie Laing

After being forced to quit the show in 2019 due to injury, Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing is back to show off his moves in 2020!

Caroline Quentin

Ranvir Singh

Good Morning Britain presenter will be mixing early morning and grueling rehearsals as she's signed up for the 2020 series.

Former American footballer Jason Bell will be showing off his moves on the dance floor! He's also the ex-boyfriend of Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle.

Maisie Smith

You'll probably recognise Maisie Smith from EastEnders! She's played the role of Tiffany Butcher since she was just six-years-old!

Max George

Max George is best known for being in boyband The Wanted. His former band mate Jay McGuiness won the show back in 2015.

Bill Bailey

Comedian Bill Bailey revealed he decided to take part in the show for a new 'challenge', admitting his late mum would have loved watching him on the show.

Nicola Adams OBE

Olympic boxing champion Nicola Adams will make history on the show as she's set to be part of the first ever same-sex pairing on Strictly Come Dancing.

Jacqui Smith

Former Home Secretary Jacqui Smith has also joined the line-up for 2020.

HRVY

Despite testing positive for Covid-19 just weeks before the launch show, singer HRVY is now fit and healthy and is ready for the 2020 series.

You've probably noticed that singer HRVY is missing from the official photos, this is because he is currently self-isolating after testing positive for Covid-19 last week. Taking to his Twitter account on 1st October, HRVY revealed he has no symptoms from the virus, but he's taking all measures to stop the spread.

He wrote, 'hi, wasn’t gonna worry anyone and say anything but now the story’s out, i have coronavirus, I’m all good, no symptoms, just isolating for the next 10 days. already super bored so prepare yourselves for my Tik toks'. (sic)

HRVY, real name Harvey Leigh Cantwell, will still take part in the show, with the 21-year-old expected to join his fellow contestants at the official launch show which takes place on Monday 12th October.

However, the BBC have already confirmed that if any of the 12 celebs contract the Coronavirus whist on the show, they will be immediately eliminated from the contest.

Sarah James, the Executive Producer for Strictly, told the Radio Times, "Unfortunately if you receive a positive test, that means you wouldn't be able to continue in the competition.

"Obviously with government guidelines, if you receive a positive test you have to isolate for two weeks and that would unfortunately rule them out of the show."
