Diversity dancer Perri Kiely has made it into the 2020 Dancing On Ice final! Perri, who first shot to fame with the dance group on Britain's Got Talent, scored the first perfect 40/40 during Sunday night's semi-final, leaving Perri very emotional.

After gaining a seriously impressive 38.5/40 during his first dance, Perri and his professional partner Vanessa Bauer went one further, receiving the perfect score of 40/40 in their routine to 'The Balcony Scene' from Romeo and Juliet.

Upon getting the impressive score, Perri and Vanessa were given a standing ovation from the studio audience, and the judging panel, which left the 24-year-old with tears in his eyes.

Speaking to hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, Perri said, "I know that this song is not personal to just me, it represents so much for so many people. This is an achievement of my own, and I'm so happy to be able to bring it here.

"Vanessa has been great and I'm just grateful for everything."

As well as Perri's Diversity's pals being in the audience for support, Ashley Banjo, who sits on the Dancing On Ice judging panel, also got emotional after Perri's performance.

Ashley later posted on Instagram, writing, 'I don’t know if anyone will ever really understand what seeing @realperrikiely perform that skate meant... The music... The moment... The love for my team is endless man 🙏🏽❤️ #dancingonice'. (sic)

Of course, Perri sailed into next weekend's final following his amazing performance, where he will be joined by Joe Swash and Libby Clegg.

The Dancing On Ice final takes place on Sunday 8th March at 6pm.
