Fans of Married At First Sight were thrilled when the latest series of the UK version kicked off on 29th August, following the popularity of Married At First Sight Australia as well as a drama-filled 2021 UK series. This series sees 16 new singletons looking for love and putting their trust in the experts to find their perfect match, and one of this year's contestants has even appeared on a couple of reality dating shows before.
For viewers thinking that dress designer April Banbury looks familiar, you might have spotted her on reality TV before. As if being Ms Great Britain 2020 wasn't enough of a claim to fame, she previously appeared on The Cabins and well as The Bachelor.
She went on The Cabins in 2020, where she hit it off with model Ryan Darvill after spending time together in a luxury log cabin. Although things were going well for the pair, lockdown made things more difficult in the early stages of their relationship.
Before that, she went on The Bachelor in 2011, where she competed to end up with Welsh rugby player Gavin Henson. She managed to finish in third place, and Gavin chose Carianne to be his girlfriend in the end. The pair ended up splitting in 2012.
April is continuing her search for love on this year's Married At First Sight UK, where we saw her get married to Financial Advisor George in the second episode of the exciting series.
The couple both said "I do", but April was left surprised when George revealed that he has four children on their wedding day. We'll have to wait and see how their relationship plays out as the series continues.
