Love Island SPOILERS: Amber and Michael get their first date
WARNING: Plenty of spoilers ahead
Well...it's only Wednesday but it has been QUITE the week so far on Love Island. After seeing the end to one of the villa's most gripping love triangles, between Tommy Fury, Molly-Mae Hague and Maura Higgins, viewers were sad to say goodbye to Elma Pazar and Joe Garratt last night, after they were both ruthlessly dumped from the island.
The pair's departure left their other halves, Lucie Donlan and Anton Danyluk, single within the villa. The question on everyone's mind at this point, however, is will Lucie follow her man to the outside world?
On the plus side, however, Amber Gill and Michael Griffiths appear to be going from strength to strength as the pair head out for their first date.
Check out all of the spoilers for Wednesday's episode of Love Island:
LUCIE GATHERS HER THOUGHTS AFTER THE RECENT DUMPING
After being left frustrated at the rest of the villa's lack of faith in her and Joe's compatibility, Lucie's mood is lifted after chatting to the girls.
Molly-Mae says, "We're all going to be there for you. You're not alone. You're going to be fine. You've got all these girls here and they do have your best interests at heart."
LUCIE IS STILL CONFUSED
The girls are keen to check in on Lucie, as she is still confused as to what Joe would have done if he was in her position. Molly-Mae advises her to enjoy the experience and make the right choice for herself.
Reflecting in the Beach Hut, Lucie says, "The girls have been really lovely to me, they've been really nice. I don't normally take girls advice but I'm actually going to give it a chance."
AMBER AND MICHAEL HEAD OUT ON THEIR FIRST DATE
Amongst the madness, Amber receives a text informing her that her and Michael are to finally go on their FIRST date. Both are equally as nervous as each other, with Amber even saying, "You're making me feel like I'm in an interview!" Enough with the compliments, Amber...
THINGS ARE LOOKING GOOD
After both admitting their families would love one another, Amber confesses that Michael has turned her "cuddly".
Talking of their families, Michael says Amber would "fit right in", whilst Amber reveals she feels the two are "compatible on another level."
ANNA AND JORDAN GET COSY
Blossoming (unofficial) couple Anna and Jordan are growing closer by the day, and a playful game of 'yes or no' allows Jordan to admit that he isn't willing to get to know anybody else!
It isn't long before the two are getting cosy and cranking up the flirts.
THE PAIR SHARE A SMOOCH
Yep...you guessed it! As the pair cuddle up, their eyes meet and they share their first kiss.
Both seem to be pretty pleased with the others' kissing skills, and based on their reactions, it doesn't look like it'll be long before the pair lock lips again…
TOM MAKES A PLAY FOR MAURA
As we all know, Tom was pretty torn between getting to know Maura and Elma. But after last night's surprising elimination, it seems the public have made his mind up for him!
Pulling Maura for a chat, Tom wastes no time in laying it on factor 50 thick, saying, "They're the boys not sure I can handle you. I assure you I could."
MAURA HAS DOUBTS
Maura takes to the Beach Hut to express her concerns over her connection with Tom, admitting, "I can't describe it. There is something missing with Tom. Maybe he does find me intimidating?"
Will Tom be able to win back Maura's affections?
DANNY DOUBTS HIS AND YEWANDE’S ROMANTIC CONNECTION
Danny is concerned that him and Yewande are no longer on the right track. Voicing his doubts to Anton and Tom, he reveals, ""I would say she Yewande is genuinely not feeling it."
Say it isn't so!
YEWANDE IS FRUSTRATED
Aware of Danny's feelings, Curtis asks Yewande how things are going. In a fiery fire pit conversation, she admits, "I just feel like he always needs reassurance. I'm not going to tell you every day that I really like you. It's never going to happen."
Danny takes to Beach Hut to confess it's "not easy" for him. Is this couple's relationship officially on the rocks?
