September has NOT been a great months for Love Island couples. Not only have 2015 alumni Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison called time on their romance, but this year's Laura Anderson and Paul Knops have also reportedly split.

HOWEVER. Yet ANOTHER Love Island couple have announced they've gone their separate ways - Laura Crane and Jack Fowler. After they left the villa two months ago, they weren't keen on putting a label on their relationship, and it's now fizzled out.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Laura released a statement confirming the split. It read, "Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together.

"Feel truly blessed to have got to share my Love Island experience with him and to have made a friend for life. We will carry on supporting each other on this journey and I can’t wait to see where it takes us."

Jack also confirmed the split, telling the publication it had been a "difficult" decision but was one that they'd "reached together."

He said, "We met in extraordinary circumstances and had an amazing time getting to know each other, both whilst in the villa and outside of it but our lives are currently taking us in different directions.

"We will remain friends and I will support her in whatever she does. I wish her all the best. See you soon surfer girl!"

Laura and Jack join both Laura and Paul AND Samira Mighty and Frankie Foster as the couples who didn't make it. Samira famously left the villa days after Frankie was voted out so she could be with him back home - but he was filmed calling their relationship "fake" and they soon split.

This could be one of the most amicable Love Island splits EVER.
