After Monday night's rather dramatic ending, Love Island fans were eagerly awaiting the aftermath of the tense recoupling, but fans were left fuming when it was delayed for the England Vs Colombia game in the FIFA World Cup.

ITV2 had originally advertised last night's show to begin at 9.30pm, but when the football match ended up going to extra time and penalties, bosses made a public announcement on social media, confirming the popular dating show had been pushed back further until 10pm. Taking to Twitter, the message read, 'ENGLAND HAVE GONE INTO EXTRA TIME! Don't panic. Don't worry. #LoveIsland will be starting at 10pm so we can all support our boys ⚽🙌❤🌴 @LoveIsland'. sic

But, of course, not everybody is invested in the football and thousands of angry Love Island fans took to Twitter to vent their anger at the delayed time...

But when the show finally did air, fans witnessed Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham's ex-girlfriend Ellie Jones go on a nice little afternoon tea date. The pair talked all things Jack (obviously), with Ellie admitting to Dani that he didn't treat her right during their relationship.

After talking it out with Jack and dismissing the way he treated Ellie, the pair made up and left the nation going to bed very happy. Later on in the episode, the pair finally declared their love for each other.

Lying in bed, Jack said, “I actually feel like I love you a little bit. I’m in love with you." With Dani saying, “I do feel I love you."

The pen salesmen then added, “I do actually love you. I do love you. Do you love me as well?", with Dani responding , “Of course I love you,”

AWWWWWWW! 💑💑💑
