As we're all very well aware, contestants on Love Island are not allowed ANY contact with the outside world. They're allowed phones, yes - but only to contact each other and the producers, as well as take photos.

So that means that the Islanders have no idea about what's going on in the real world and how they're being perceived - so Dani Dyer has NO idea what her beloved dad Danny is thinking of her chosen partner, Jack Fincham.

Of course, Dani and Jack have faced some pretty big tests very early on in their relationship - no-one will forget Dani's reaction to seeing his ex-girlfriend Ellie Jones walk into the villa for the first time in last night's episode (2nd July).

Here's everything you need to know about the newest Islanders...

Jordan Adefeyisan, 23

Jordan is a model from Stockport, who already fancies Ellie, Megan and Georgia in the villa.

But Dani's devotion to her old man is of the utmost importance to her, and Love Island fans are already pretty invested in her and Jack's relationship.

Thankfully, viewers will be pleased to know that Dani's best pal from the outside world Kayleigh Short has given us an educated assumption of what Danny will make of our Jack once he gets home and meets the Dyers.

According to Metro.co.uk, Kayleigh says that Danny "can't wait" to meet Jack and that she thinks Danny will like him because "there is nothing to dislike about him."

Of Danny's protective nature, she said that it's "normal for him to be like that with Dani" as "every dad is protective over his daughter," adding that she thinks the two would "get on well."

She even went so far as to put into question Danny's "hard man" reputation, saying that the EastEnders actor "isn't scary or intimidating at all," adding that he's a "big softie" in real life.

We wonder how that will go down with Mr Dyer...!

Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9.30pm.
