It was the episode we'd all be patiently waiting for last night (25th July), but many Love Island viewers were left extremely disappointment by this year's babies, with many admitting they even tuned out during the episode.

As Jack and Dani, Wes and Megan, Josh and Kaz, Jack and Laura, Alex and Alexandra, and Paul and Laura woke up to sound of screaming babies, the theme of the episode didn't really change, with the fake dolls continuously screaming throughout, leaving viewers VERY annoyed.

Fans of the show took to social media to vent their frustrations...

Love Island viewers were also a little miffed at how little footage of the baby task was shown this year. In comparison to the past three series, footage of the Islanders with their babies was cut down a lot, with the couples also returning their babies before bed time.

In other Love Island news, just days before the big final on Monday night, Jack and Laura were eliminated from the show after receiving the least amount of votes from the public.

The couple found themselves in the bottom three alongside Wes and Megan, and Josh and Kaz.

Speaking after his exit, Jack revealed his feelings about Laura. He said, "It’s going to be different leaving the villa and being in the outside world. We won’t be living together, it won’t be as intense but we are going to keep seeing each other, we are going to keep doing what we’re doing. Ultimately we are in a position where we’re trying to get to know each other as much as possible and hopefully end up in a relationship. It’s going that way."

Laura also added, "We’re just really excited to carry on the way we are going. It’s nice just to be able to carry that on. We want to go to Devon and he wants to show me how he can surf."

The Love Island 2018 final takes place on Monday 30th July, with this year's winning couple expected to take home a share of £50,000.
