Last year we got to see a spectacular three-episode reunion of Love Is Blind's season one cast, which saw a joint anniversary party for Cameron and Lauren Hamilton, and Matt and Amber Barnett take place with all of the cast invited. Netflix has now released details of a special After The Alter episode with the cast of season two.

The binge-worthy show promises more drama as all of the contestants are brought back together a year after filming for the show ended.

We've been given the first sneak peek at Love Is Blind: After the Alter as Netflix shared a trailer, where we can see some of what happened after the weddings and where they all are now.

When will Love Is Blind: After The Altar air?

The episode will drop on Netflix on 16th September and it looks like it will be a dramatic reunion as we see clips of Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely who got married on the show, but recently announced that they have split up and will be getting divorced. In the video clip, Iyanna can be heard telling Natalie Lee that her former partner: "Has never been held accountable. He's immature".

The other couple who got married during the series was Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson, who reportedly will also be getting divorced. So it looks like there won't be any anniversary parties this time around.

There are also new relationships, as people have moved on and found love outside the pods, possibly including Deepti Vempati and Kyle Abrams, who were coupled up with other people while on the show.

At the reunion episode, Kyle admitted he wished he had proposed to Deepti and they have since been spending a lot of time together and fuelling dating rumours. Fans will no doubt be hoping to find out more about what has gone on between the pair, and the trailer shows Deepti saying to Kyle: "If we take it there it could be the best thing ever, but what if it doesn't work out?"

It also seems like we'll find out more about exactly what went on between Natalie Lee, Shayne Jensen and Shania Hurley, who ended up in a dramatic love triangle. Natalie and Shayne have since split while Shania got married to Christos Lardakis, who she met after leaving Love Is Blind. However, it seems as though Natalie has more to say on the situation, as the trailer shows her saying: "Much more has happened. I need to tell my truth".

How can I watch Love Is Blind: After the Altar?

Love Is Blind: After the Altar will be released on Netflix on 16th September.

You can catch up with seasons one and two of Love Is Blind on the streaming platform.

What is Love Is Blind about?

To give you a simple synopsis, Love Is Blind, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, premiered on Netflix in 2020 and followed 30 men and women on their quest to find love - the twist, however, was they would speed date from individual 'pods' that did not allow them to see one another.

Following a dramatic reunion episode and an After the Alter special, the show returned for a second season in 2021. At the upcoming After the Alter episode, fans will get to see who is still together and who isn't from season two.
