Dramatic trailer released for final ever series of Killing Eve
The new series will land on 28th February
Last updated 16th Feb 2022
Believe it or not it's been two whole years since series three of Killing Eve graced our screens, so it's no surprise fans are ecstatic for the release of the fourth and final series on Monday 28th February.
Now, with just weeks to go ahead of the release, bosses have dropped a feature-length trailer starring main characters Villanelle (Jodie Comer), Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), and Carolyn Martens (Fiona Shaw).
The two-minute long trailer which is titled 'The Final Obsession is here', shows Villanelle and Eve reunite, following that tense ending to series three back in 2020, which showed the pair make a pact to walk away from each other.
The trailer also shows Eve being hired by Carolyn in an attempt to get revenge on The Twelve for the tragic murder of her son Kenny in series three. However, as usual, it seems Eve has her own vendetta.

Series four of Killing Eve was actually first confirmed way back in January 2020, when BBC America quietly dropped the news on their socials.
However, due to the pandemic, filming was postponed and didn't resume until Summer 2021, meaning production was put back.
It was then in December last year that bosses confirmed the news we'd all been waiting for: Killing Eve series four would land in the UK on Monday 28th February.

Liverpudlian actress Jodie, who plays the infamous role of Villanelle in the hit series, caught up with our entertainment team last year during the premiere of her movie Free Guy.
Teasing what fans can expect from the new series, Jodie told us: "I really wanted to go out with a bang. She really deserves that. What I will say about the show is they're really kind of pushing boundaries and trying new formulas, especially for Villanelle which is a good thing in a way, knowing it's the end because it's like, 'Right, let's go for it'. They're definitely daring to make a few choices."
You can watch the first three series of Killing Eve on the BBC iPlayer now, with series four landing on the 28th February 2022.
