The show has graced our TV screens since 2002, but a lot of people have been dubbing this year's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here the BEST series ever! With Harry Redknapp's hilarious stories, Nick Knowles' kind nature and the camp's general love, it's certainly been up there with one of the best.
So with this in mind, viewers of the hit show were left devastated during last night's (Wednesday 28th November) show when host Dec Donnelly announced the current series is already HALF WAY in.
After Dec's announcement, fans were quick to take to Twitter expressing their sadness. One user wrote, 'Am I the only one who can’t believe that I’m a celeb is already half way through and nearly finished?🤷🏼♀️ Absolutely, definitely not ready for this series to finish😭😭 #ImACeleb'. sic
Another added, 'I’m sad that we are already halfway through the show already though', with somebody else writing, 'Halfway through the series.. I don’t know if I can survive not seeing Nick Knowles on TV every night.' sic
Celebrities are only allowed one phone call
Celebrities are only allowed one phone call before technology is confiscated. Usually the celebrities are chaperoned from the UK to Australia on their way to the camp, however when they get to where they stay before the show, they are given ONE phone call before their phone and other technology is removed from their possessions.

The presenters are on site super early
Because of the time difference between the UK and Australia the presenters - this year Dec Donnelly and Holly Willoughby - have to be on site incredibly early! Starting at 2.30am to do any voiceover work, they then have to go through the day's script and have their make-up done before being in the studio for 7am - which is when we see them on the live TV show in the UK.
The technology involved is huge
As we all know the I'm A Celebrity set is covered with cameras, recording all of the ins and outs of the celebs lives, however of course to make a TV programme out of it all, it needs to be edited. There are 13 edit suites used throughout the series. The 'nerve centre' of the production is in use 24 hours a day where the crew are logging the celebs actions and also speaking to any celebs who enter the Bush Telegraph.
The I'm A Celebrity set ISN'T in the middle of nowhere
From the looks of it, the I'm A Celebrity set is in the middle of nowhere, however it's actually in Springbrook National Park in a town called Murwillumbah in Queensland. Whilst the friends and family of the celebrities reportedly stay in the luxurious Palazzo Versace Hotel, the crew are based in the holiday resort of Coolangatta.
Celebrities are sent a DVD to prepare themselves
The book I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! The Inside Story has revealed that, 'every celebrity who is considering taking part is sent a pack including a DVD so they know precisely what they're letting themselves in for.'
There are many more crew involved than you probably imagine
I'm A Celebrity is a huge production with around 150 crew working on the show each day who need to be fed. No widgety grub for them!
The medical team are kept on their toes
Over the years, the medical team have been kept busy. Back in 2013, one of the members of the crew got a tick bite resulting in severe anaphylactic shock. Other medical concerns over the years have included over 100 ticks removed from both the celebs and crew and 22 carpet pythons relocated! Once a celeb is voted off the show they also have to see the show's psychiatrist, before checking in with Medic Bob to get their weight and blood pressure taken.
The waterfall shower is FAKE!
We've all seen the waterfall scenes, BUT it turns out that it was actually created for the show! Lauren Booth, a contestant in 2006 revealed it was 'turned off' when campmates weren't using it to shower, and it runs 'hot water'.
The are A LOT of bugs!
It's a good job that Holly Willoughby isn't a participant on I'm A Celebrity. Reports suggest that in each series of the show 250,000 cockroaches, 153,000 crickets, 2.5 million mealworms, 400 spiders, 500 rats and 30 snakes are bred.

Viewers, along with temporary host Holly Willoughby, were barely able to watch during last night's AWFUL Bushtucker trial.
Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer and Coronation Street actress Sair Khan took part in one of the worst ever looking eating trials ever to grace the show. In order to win meals for the camp, Malique and Sair had to eat jungle delicacies such as fish eyes, vomit fruit, pig snouts, sheep testicle, crispy shredded willy beef and dead scorpion (to name just a few).
Meanwhile, in other I'm A Celebrity news, on last night's show Dec and Holly announced the vote offs will begin soon, with viewers given the chance to vote for three celebrities to take part in the immunity challenge.
Harry Redknapp, Nick Knowles and John Barrowman were voted to take part in 'Deadly Dash'. The scenes will air on tonight's episode of I'm A Celebrity.
