After the final episode aired on Monday, a trailer for the documentary entitled Game of Thrones: The Last Watch was released, and it shows all the blood, sweat and tears that went into making the show.

During the one-minute long trailer, we can see the cast at their final table read, plus comments from the cast and crew about how much the show has taken over their lives.

We also see a moment when Kit Harington, who has played Jon Snow AKA Aegon Targaryen for the last eight years, get super emotional and look as though he's about to tear up over something, as Sophie Turner AKA Sansa Stark looks on.

Rory McCann, who plays Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane can be seen laughing at his colleague, and Peter Dinklage, who stars as Tyrion Lannister, seems to be completely oblivious.

Fans are hoping that they'll not only get to see some behind-the-scenes gossip about the show, but also that a few more of their remaining questions about the storylines might be answered.

How can I watch the Game of Thrones documentary in the UK?

The documentary will air on HBO in the US on Sunday 26th May, and it will follow the same pattern that the eighth season did, airing on Monday 27th May at 2am on Sky Atlantic and repeated at 9pm again. It will also be available to stream on NOW TV.
