The list of celebrities taking part in the 2019 series of Dancing On Ice have been coming in thick and fast this week, and now Love Island 2018 contestant Wes Nelson has been confirmed as the last celebrity.

The news was confirmed on the official Dancing On Ice Instagram page, with the caption reading, 'Is it hot in here or... Oh hey, @wes.nelson 👋🌴 From Love Island to Dancing On Ice 2019, Wes can't wait to couple up with us this winter. sic

Speaking about his upcoming involvement in the show, Wes said, "Gemma Collins is going to wipe the floor with me, I'm super intimidated. I've been looking at the line up thinking 'oh my gosh!' Of course you'll be seeing my hips on the ice and the hips don't lie!"

Wes was a popular contestant on ITV2's Love Island in the summer. Despite breaking Laura Anderson's heart, Wes eventually found love with fellow contestant Megan Barton-Hanson, with the pair making it all the way to the final.

Since leaving the villa in the summer, Wes and Megan have moved in together and often post loved-up snaps on their social media accounts.

Meanwhile, as well as Wes, former X Factor star Saara Aalto and Grease legend Didi Conn have also been confirmed for the new series today. They join the likes of Gemma Collins, former Westlife singer Brian McFadden, Coronation Street's Jane Danson and ex-Strictly dancer James Jordan.

Dancing On Ice will return next January with presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield once again at the helm, with skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean taking their places on the judging panel like last year.
