He's pretty much despised by the whole nation in his role as evil Lachlan White in Emmerdale, but Thomas Atkinson was recently on the receiving end of violence in real life.
The 19-year-old actor shared a photo of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram while returning from a holiday in France. The accompanying caption said, 'Last shot before I had a knife pulled on me and phone stolen. Thank you, Paris. Nice to know I was welcome 🙃.'
Fans were quick to forget how much they hate Lachlan and offered him heaps of support.

Well, we're glad to hear he's OK, so that he can get back to Emmerdale and continue to torment us with his devious ways as Lachlan.
At the moment, Lachlan is about to get himself in even more of a pickle. After accidentally killing his mum Chrissie White and his grandad Lawrence White, and then purposefully killing his best pal Gerry Roberts, he's now kidnapped his aunt Rebecca White - who knows about what he's done.
